I have all that self contained in my rack so that no matter where I'm playing I can always hear it. I use headphones to hear the backing tracks and click track I'm playing along to. NINa: Drummers often use headphones during a show. For example: start with just jamming for a 1/2 hour, speed endurance for 20 minutes, stick control for 20 min., odd time and polyrhythms for 30 min, then whatever will make me happy for however long I want! Now, I break up my practise into sections. It helps with time and it can eleviate the boredom of hours of stick control practise.

AC/DC is great for that! I use to come home from school and play along to Rush, Zeppelin, Sabbath, etc. I definately did that and recommend it to all my students. I hate those guys! :-) But, once I got "it", it did become easy for me to pick things up.īrian Backlash: A lot of drummers will play along to records from jazz greats and such while they practice. So, no, I wouldn't say I was a "born" drummer. It was very difficult to work up the 4-way independence in the beginning.
My chemlab how to#
NINa: I was watching 16volt concert videos and your drumming style reminds me a real powerful machine indeed ) Was it difficult for you to synchronize hands and feet hitting the drums when you were learning how to play at the very beginning, or did you feel like an born drummer - perfectly capable of playing the instrument?

Later, I learned piano, which led me to samplers and computers. I didn't play any other instument before the drums. Then, this kid turned me on to Rush's "All The World's a Stage" and that was it. Initially, it was hearing my dad playing these jazz records like Dave Brubeck and Thelonius Monk. What inititially drew you to the drum set? Did you play any other instruments before picking up the sticks? C'est la vie!īrian Backlash: You've been a drummer for decades. Eric Powell from 16volt is doing the same thing right now as well. :-) It's kind of weird when singers take the music you've sweated over, get new players, hit play on the dat machine and rock out like it's their shit. I support Jared in whatever he's doing but, the only way I'd come aboard is if Dylan joined as well - and I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon. Servo: Right now, I have no plans in re-joining Chemlab. 2005 interview about the new Chemlab line-up he replied: "I'd like to get LeviTKK back to playing bass with me and rope in my old drummer Servotronik because he's a little fucking machine." Do you have any news about joining Chemlab again? Rock/metal/industrial review submissions are still accepted - read our testimonials and pro reviews written by Draconina (NINa). Our original content includes important info about new and well known bands of the genres, provided through news, reviews, interviews and podcasts. It was then turned into Industrial Rock & Metal Encyclopedia.

I sincerely wish I could have used a programmable device in general chemistry, the University I attended enforced a strict policy of no programmable devices on exams or even quizes. Be certain that you have the 50G in approximate Mode. The instuctions indicate the program is for use on the 49, I have found that just as HP indicated this program will run on the 50g as well. Not only a very reliable program based on Linear Algebra but also has accompanying examples to illustrate running the program. Gotta get this program, good tool i give it a 10. Does anybody know how to contact the authors? Neither of the websites are working. But it could use some additions, for example the list of oxidation states is a bit rudimentary. and the balancer is VERY cool once you get the hang of it. This is the best chemistry library available! Just make sure you have the calculator in approx mode when using the BAL and MOW programs! Only wish this was here when I took Engg201, but oh well. Haven't tried it on my 49 yet, but definitely best Chem program for the 48 when I used it.
